Cherie Blackwell "Portrait of Morgan" (2010) 11" x 17" 4-color process photo-lithography on Dharma #CPC cotton print cloth printed on a Charles Brand printing press with etching inks followed by direct-dye enhancements. The photo-lithography process provides a very satisfying alternative to the usual textile photo-transfer methods. Once printed, the images can be enhanced with thickened dyes and dye-based pencils.
