Collaborative work by Cherie Blackwell and Patricia Banta "Linen Table Napkins" (2010) Set of 6 18"x18" napkins from commercial Irish linens; printed with thickened MX fiber reactive dyes from Solar Plate relief plates; overprinting by frottage from relief plates with Shiva Paintstik and then over-dyed. While they are oil-based, Shiva Paintstiks can be air-cured to a stable, non-toxic state suitable to items that will have close contact with the skin.
