In this workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to look at the man-made world from different perspectives in order to create a special artwork that speaks directly to the unique way in which you see the world.

We’ll meet once a week via Zoom for two hours, for six consecutive weeks, followed by one week off to work on your own. Then two weeks of diving into thread painting and surface design. Another week off to work on your own, followed by a hand stitching intensive and a deep dive into finishing techniques.

Each class will be recorded. Access to the recordings will be available for five weeks after the last session.

I’ll provide guidance and instruction during each of our two-hour Zoom sessions, covering everything from creating your composition and material selection, to construction and stitching techniques that can make your artwork reflect your inspiration. In between sessions, you’ll work on your artworks to build on what you’ve learned and prepare for the next class. I’ll be available by email or even a quick zoom chat, during the week for any questions.
