Canvas,Paint,threads 14"h x 24" w x 1.5"d
I am interested in creating relief sculptures that are based on surprises I find in my travels. New ideas and materials have emerged, as I explore the use of canvas painted with acrylic. Using a wide color palette, I designed and built this composition. These pieces include pattern making, and construction by hand stitching with a blanket stitch.

Silk, dyes, pellon, threads 33"h x54"w x2"d
My recent work is created from a variety of hand painted fabrics. I created ,“Boxed In” during the time of isolation. The labor intensive construction of this piece was a perfect way for me to pass time in lock down, while exploring a new three-dimensional way to express how architecture influences my work.
