I make art quilts incorporating hand-dyed fabrics and several printing techniques along with drawing and stitching. As a health professional working in a hospital’s emergency area, I have had close contact with seriously injured and covid-19 patients. Actually, I made several recent artworks related to current topics in my series “Crossing,” with titles such as Vaccination, Flucht (Escape), and Social Distancing.
