2) On a sad note, Polish artist, sculptor, and fiber artist Magdalena Abakanowicz, has died at age 86. Primarily working in thick fibers and synthetic resins, Abakanowicz’s works were beautiful, disturbing, and fascinating, all at the same time (via Daily Mail).
