Closing out SDA’s Outstanding Students Award Winners is our fourth, and final, top-notch gallery of student work featuring innovation within the field of fibers and textiles. All were nominated by the chair of their department, all winners receive a free digital membership for the year.

Melissa Nicole Furman (Undergraduate) Losing My Religion, synthetic ink, canvas, pew, screen-printed, upholstered. Tyler School of Art, Temple University.

Breanna Kixmiller (Undergraduate) Blomma, digitally printed cotton, heat transfer, embroidery. Iowa State University.

Frances Parry (Graduate) Exposure, silk organza, linen, solvy, hand-stitched, machine-stitched, 22″ x 30″ x 6″. Eastern Michigan University, School of Art & Design.
