Image Statement: In 2018 I devoted the year of the tapestry diary to the phrase "Sticks and Stones...." because of the political and social upheaval in the United States. This was my way of making a positive thing from negative emotions I felt from the state of the world. This is one of my ongoing year-long tapestry diaries with each color change being woven on a different day of the year. The stick and stone images were woven within each ongoing month, beginning at the bottom with January, 2018 and building up to the top to end on December 31, 2018.
