Image Statement: I am interested in creating relief sculptures that are based on surprises I find in my travels. New ideas and materials are have emerged, as I explore the use of canvas painted with acrylic. Using a wide color palette, I designed and built this composition. These pieces include pattern making, and construction by hand stitching with a blanket stitch.
